What did this study of signs explore?

For over 2000 years the ancient Egyptians carved and secreted a sophisticated symbolic system of art and hieroglyphs into the pyramids of the Pharaohs and the tombs of the nobility. Using modern science criteria, this study investigated their ancient core myth and over 870 signs in eight Ancient Egyptian texts, art, and architecture. The fact is that over 870 decoded signs exhibit a unified matrix of ancient Egyptian science that mirrors modern scientific knowledge. The Pharaohs were aware of microbiology, space physics, and quantum physics. And surprisingly, Egyptian knowledge moves beyond modern scientific thinking on human evolution.

What is the Isis Thesis in a nut shell?

The Isis Thesis posits:

The Egyptian afterlife is the quantum world.
Egyptian deities are signs for viral and bacterial proteins.
These proteins map a specific chemical path in the quantum for human evolutionary horizontal gene transfer and viral replication.
With knowledge of the earth and the stars (a mirror of the quantum), the deceased king transforms to Mind or cloned energy in the cosmos, a timeless state.

What is horizontal gene transfer and viral replication?

Horizontal gene transfer (HGT) is DNA exchange between two different species such as a human and a bacteriophage (a virus that infects bacteria). Viral replication is cloning.

Egyptian evidence supports that HGT and viral replication are mediated by an ancient virus called bacteriophage Lambda, which is the world-heart of our cosmos. This source or world-heart generates two DNA-texts: matter and energy. HGT allows the transformation to cloned energy or Mind in the cosmos, rather than matter on earth.

Who else knew the secret?

William Blake, Albrecht Durer, Antonin Artaud, Heidegger, Teilhard de Chardin, Charles  S. Peirce, Roger Bacon, Petrus Peregrinus, the Aztecs, the ancient Chinese sages and many others.

Where did their knowledge come from?

Science tells us that our universe is a hologram or an invertible reflection of the quantum world.  The hologram would then be the material representation of the whole writing or holograph, that is, a (3D) image where information about the holograph is recorded.  When our world or the hologram is illuminated, what emerges is a rational 3D picture that enfolds the whole image in each of its parts.  So if you cut the picture into pieces, each piece would still contain the whole.  What we perceive as real are signs pointing to the quantum holograph, the whole writing, what the Aztecs called Neltililiztli or the 'root and foundation of all things.'  In myth, art, science and so on, Man models quantum dynamics because he is a sign of a DNA codification system within himself based on quantum laws, which seed his behavior, religious experience, and scientific reason because the codification system is the origin of signs.  History's dustbin is full of long-lost signs waiting to rise again with their quantum message for human survival.

Are all religions trying to tell us this same information?

Yes. Despite ancient Egypt's isolation, this masked biological knowledge surfaced in other cultures and finally in biblical myth: Noah and the Ark (Deceased Sun-god on the Sun-bark), Mary's virgin birth of the dying/rising Jesus (Isis' virgin birth of the Horus child), the rivalry of Cain and Abel (Seth and Horus), and the Tree of Life versus the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (timelessness v. spacetime).  Religious and mythological themes throughout history mirror Lambda lifestyles related to the competition of two proteins (c1 and cro).

Does this mean Religion is Science?

Yes. In forming this new conceptualization of Egyptian thinking, a view of the world emerges that is woven with our best modern science (research-based knowledge and theory) that is rooted in biosemiotics.  This is related to Being because our survival depends on the correct decipherment of signs (Sebeok 2001, 104).  According to the Pharaohs, species survival depends on having knowledge of two ways, specifically, the chemical transformation path back to the viral source of our universe, (the holograph or Mind) a state of the Four Force unity.  It is this knowledge that myth and religion have masked.

Why are we so confused?

The quantum world ruled by quantum mechanics orders our classical universe ruled by general relativity.  Part of the problem is our material world of habits persuades us to see signs as real things and undervalue the sign's potential for original meaning.

"The more civilized, the more unconscious and complicated a man is, the less he is able to follow his instincts. His complicated living conditions and the influence of his environment are so strong that they drown the quiet voice of nature," Carl Jung Aion 1951.

Who are we anyway?

Egyptian texts reveal that the viral world-heart pumping life into our universe is a complex virus called bacteriophage Lambda.  This source or world-heart generates two DNA-texts.  One is the viral legacy of our human DNA-text due to the Big Bang; the other is the DNA-text of the virus itself that allows the transformation of the Deceased beyond the spacetime universe.  In addition, human genome research shows that viruses made us what we are today. An ancient Egyptian proverb states, If you would know yourself, take yourself as starting point and go back to its source; your beginning will disclose your end.

Is the earth a cell?

Some of the same processes occurring in the earth's magnetosphere are mirrored at the quantum level of an E. coli cell, which is the setting for the Egyptian afterlife in the "regions of the dwarfs." Actually, if earth were to shrink less than the Planck-length (10 -33 centimeters), we would see a dual universe as the original large universe collapsed (Duff 2003). This is the String Theory idea of T-Duality, which Egyptian biosemiotics supports. According to modern physics, at this tiny cellular size, the spinning earth world also exhibit the dynamics of a tiny rotating Kerr black hole with a ring singularity.  Egyptian biosemiotics also supports this idea, claiming that inside a tiny one-celled organism, proteins fold to their native states in protein folding funnels having the dynamics of black holes.  As semiotic theoretician Thomas Sebeok has stressed, in the quest for meaning, it is important to study bacteria (Sebeok 2001, 12) or one-celled organisms.  The bacteriophage, a virus attacking bacteria, should also be studied, for there exists a global communicative network in our biosphere, formed at the highest level by the viral bacteriophage, then bacteria followed by eukaryotes (humans, animals, plants, protists, fungi).

What does all this really mean?

According to Egyptian biosemiotics, a dramatic spacetime environmental change, such as a human death, enables the consciousness of the Deceased (defined as the remaining elements or information created by the spacetime matter DNA-text) to select evolvability.  In biology, this major evolutionary force is horizontal gene transfer by phage Lambda itself, a miniature courier (aka the Sun-god's bark or ferryboat) that ferries DNA fragments between species.

Should we understand the classical action of signs as a holographic veil of the molecular world, a lawful biophysical system for the evolution to universal mind would be accessible to human reason. Depending on observer-participancy, a central feature of the quantum world, Egyptian texts reinforce that the mind acts as the cosmic unifying force. Mind may be the missing element related to 21st Century Physics’ search for its ‘Holy Grail,’ a theory of quantum gravity to shed light on the Big Bang, microscopic black hole spacetime, and the unification of the four forces.
